Fashion Scout at London Fashion Week

Manchester based designer Zeynep launched her brand in 2013 after years of experience in the fashion industry. Glitter, sequins and all aspects of luxe red-carpet wear can be seen within her collections. This season we saw a collection of oversized rich navy velvet suits, and shoulder padded wide-leg jumpsuits with long satin lapels. The abundance of golden glitter gowns were admired by the front row including: Tiffany Watson, Fleur East, and Nicola Hughes.

Autumnal shades such as deep oranges, navy, and burgundy were displayed in this art-deco inspired collection. Velvet was a key texture that was incorporated throughout the show. Beautiful burnt orange, oversized suits and deep blue floral lace gowns made their way down the catwalk. The models wore simple black heels and didn’t carry any accessories, as not to draw any attention away from the eye-catching designs.

Zeynep Kartal celebrates elegance, and female empowerment and her red-carpet clientele are a shining example of this. Cheryl Cole, Amanda Holden and Lady Gaga are some of the women she has dressed. The sleek and sexy styles, create slimming silhouettes that would make any woman feel a million dollars.

Zeynep builds her brand on the foundation of self-love and wishes that all her designs inspire an over-flowing amount of confidence in their wearer. This was evident through the make-up choice with models wearing natural, fresh, and glossy make-up which beamed in the light of the spotlights, and highlighted how well the designs speak for themselves.

In just two years, Zeynep has participated in four London Fashion Week shows and her success is continuously growing, including the amazing opportunity to dress actresses at the Cannes Film Festival.
